CBS HD quality an issue for anyone else?

Does anybody else get a lot more pixelation when watching games on CBS than the Disney's (ABC/ESPN)? I thought it might just be my local cable provider, but seems to be a thing if you Googlify it.
One of several reasons I am not a fan of having games on CBS, regardless of any "prestige" of our game being "the chosen one".

Never noticed any pixelation, but it did cut out a few times this past Saturday.
The CBS picture has always been a little inferior to ABC and FOX, IMO. Even on my antenna.

It's everybody. CBS sucks other than their intro song

Cbs production valve is blown out of the water by ESPN/ABC imo.

I always found CBS to have the clearest picture, usually on par or even better than ABC/ESPN.
Fox is always the shittiest

The problem is CBS broadcasts in 1080i for some godforsaken reason, which means the box/tv has to de-interlace the feed which can lead to image distortion.

Are you one of those "the human eye can't tell the difference after 30fps" guys?
CBS quality is clearly subpar

I agree on the poor CBS picture.

No but I've never once thought CBS was bad, I admittedly don't have great vision.
I really only notice it on Sundays, flipping back and forth between the CBS and Fox NFL games. Maybe it just looks good in comparison to Fox which is always awful

I've never noticed a problem with the picture. It's the fricking commercials that never end that drive me crazy.

IF you get it off an antenna OTA (aka not via a compressed cable channel).
and
IF you have a nice TV with good deinterlacing (pretty much a Samsung).
Then it can look nicer than Fox and ESPN 720p broadcasts.
Most people though look at it on cable, and let the crappy cable box deinterlace the content. The end result is garbage.

It's the best HD broadcast out there IMO

Yes, it is my cable company. And only with cbs. I usually put my second tv in the same room and pick up cbs with an antenna. So I can watch multiple games. The picture quality is better over the air, than the one I get with Comcast. I might stream a third on my laptop, but usually i come here to talk about the games.

I think it depends on your cable company, bc with Charter Spectrum in the NOLA area it's about perfect.

NBC has the best quality HD broadcast out of the big four. Their Sunday night NFL games are beautiful.

I may just pick up an antenna to plug in and see if that helps. Charter Spectrum sucks here.

I dont know but NFL games on CBS look far superior to the college games on CBS. Then again they are paying like 20x more for it
Fox college games look better but Fox NFL games look worse
I dont understand it

I noticed last week that anytime the camera showed crowd shots that were pretty busy, the pixelation started. It was annoying.
