I'd be happy with this considering how last year went, plus some pretty big losses in Bell, Sims, and Gholston.

Huh, I always kinda figured the Cap One was rated higher than the Cotton, and the Outback can certainly give it a run for its money.

BCS title ($18 mil)
Sugar ($17 mil)
Capital One ($4.5 mil)
Cotton ($3.6 mil)
Gator, Outback ($3.5 mil)
Chick-fil-A ($2.9 mil)
Music City ($1.8 mil)
Liberty ($1.4 mil)
Independence ($1.1 mil)
BBVA Compass ($1 mil)

Please no. Tired of OU. I'd rather LSU vs K-State or LSU vs Texas. Don't want to see OU vs any SEC team or in a BCS game

Top SEC bowls (NCG, Sugar Bowl, and Cotton Bowl) all go to SEC West teams? Unlikely.

It happened in 2010-11.

Auburn - NCG
Arkansas - Sugar
LSU - Cotton

Not to mention that Bama played in the Cap One that year as well.

Probably wont happen but it does have a precedent at least.

All things being equal, the Cap One is where the higher ranked SEC school not going to the Sugar Bowl is suppose to go to (emphasis on suppose). But the Bowls (who are the ones that actually make the picks) also take into account the distance the fanbase has to travel. So what has ended up happening in the past from time to time is that the highest ranked available SEC West school has gone to the Cotton, while the highest available in the SEC East has gone to the Cap One.

Comment: By losing the SEC Champion to the title game, the Sugar Bowl takes Texas A&M as the replacement selection. With the second at-large pick, it takes a highly-ranked Clemson squad.

Pretty sure that would mean whoever the SEC champion was from the East would be the auto-bid into the Sugar bowl since conference champions are guaranteed a spot in a BCS bowl and then they can only take two from each conference between the bowls.

So, with

I guess they have Florida winning the SEC, so it would be:

Sugar Bowl
Florida vs Clemson in front of 4,000 fans in NOLA.

Cap One Bowl

I get where you're coming from, but after Big Game Bob's comments, I would yell wholeheartedly for the Tigers or any other SEC team to stomp a mudhole in his backside. Again.

His comments remind me of a young samurai in training who just doesn't get it. He uses that samurai's technique of bludgeoning the fists of his opponent with Bob's own face. It rarely produces victories yet Bob never knows why he keeps losing.

Seems reasonable but I don't think Florida will win the East.

No, they mean with Alabama in the National Title game, Texas A&M, by virtue of a good season, ends up in the Sugar. Florida, in the Cap One bowl, is their pick to win the East and lose to Bama in the SECCG.

Yeah last year they and everyone else predicted USC. That worked out well.
