And only one of those Carolina teams made it to the Super Regionals last year along with the real Carolina.

right?!

no doubt those 2019 preseason ranked East Carolina Pirates ... or NC-Wilimington Seahawks want anything to do with the Carolina Gamecocks this season after we bounced them both in Greenville last year.

USC wasn't ranked in most of the 11 million college baseball polls in preseason 2018, either.

Not to mention how many National Championships do those teams have? Coastal does have one.

The fact that the Carolinas have 5 teams in the top 25 and South Carolina isn't one of them is pretty remarkable, but of course them being missing is exactly why you started this thread, but I'll allow it

but what really did happen to their baseball program?

They discovered Chad Holbrook was the next Smoke Laval instead of Ray Tanner's protege.

Is this the best team in Ole Miss history? Is the team going to lose to NC A&T in the Oxford regional?

Well...since Tennessee used to be part of North Carolina...you should go ahead and count Vanderbilt, too.

Since when did south and North Carolina combine? Do y’all like being associated with each other or is there some tension between the two like there is with West Virginia and Virginia?

I wouldn't say it dominates the rankings with 5 when Texas is right behind with 4 teams.

We can't stand each other. They were one of the primary reasons we told the ACC to kiss our arse and left. Bad blood. Lots of bad blood.

Looks to me like Texas, a single state, is more dominant. And, by Carolina logic, the Louisiana Purchase is more dominant.

Carolina Panthers. Two state fanbase. Charlotte sits right on the border and in the middle of the two states. Sorta unites the two states.

Exactly so why would anyone want to associate with the other?

Funny you should ask that bc we do refer to them as "Yankee Carolina" since they're NC.
