Lamar Jackson's numbers are light years ahead of anyone elses. On top of that, he hasn't been miserable tonight.

He'll finish with 200 passing and 100 rushing, or more if they score some late.

He ain't losing the Heisman.

Son, it's been a joke for much longer than now, but your point is well taken. I think the problem with the award itself is that people automatically think it should translate to success in the NFL. Of course that is rarely the case. I think the media is part of the problem on this because they have a golden child picked and put up on a pedestal and all of the accolades but you never see about the washouts who don't make it in the league after college ball.

Jalen Hurts has thrown 15 TD, 7 INT, averaging 7.7 per attempt, and has rushed for 735 yards and 11 TDs.

Hurts would be far from the worst QB to win the Heisman.

How many passes on the year has Hurts thrown over the middle of the field? Hell.. how many has he thrown more than 3 yards in the air? Not many. Dude looks like a future star but he would easily be the worst QB to ever win the award right now.

You left out that Crouch played in an option offense and rushed for 1k+ yards and ran for 18 TDs.

Honestly.. IMO Jalen Hurts is Russell Shepard with a coach who knows how to use him

I'm sure the committee is looking at this statistic closely.

Its about scoring points, and getting yards, you think that voters giaf about where they come from?

to answer your question, he has attempted and completed plenty of passes over the middle, and over 3 yards. You must not watch many of our games.

No. Unlike Bama fans, other fanbases have lives and don't spend every waking moment worrying about a football team. It's why they dont shoot each other over or try to sell their kids in its name.

Well, he's averaging 7.7 yards per attempt. He's got double digit passes of 40+ yards. shite, he had 7 completions of 20+ yards this past Saturday alone. You haven't watched much football this year.

Did you completely ignore the list of stats from those other quarterbacks I listed? How do you justify making a statement like that?

As far as Crouch goes, Hurts has already crushed his passing numbers, for obvious reasons. But he is also on pace to gain more yards on the ground, and likely have close to the same number of rushing TDs as Crouch. He's already averaging more yards per carry. Crouch averaged 5.5 on the ground. Hurts is averaging 5.8. Hurts also already has more total yards.

You trolling or nah?
