Lamar Jackson's pretty good. He ain't from Alabama so you might have to google him.

after Ingram going down as the worst RB to ever win the heisman.. you want Hurts to go down as the worst QB too?

I don't agree with the thread, but the quality of that picture is amazing.

Not as long as Pat Sullivan, Gino Torretta, Eric Crouch, and Jason White still have trophies.

all of them could throw a forward pass, though.

why the hate on Jason White though? because he didn't have an NFL career.. because he was an injury risk?

Pat Sullivan threw 21 TDs to 13 INTs, and averaged 7 yards per pass.

Torretta threw 19 TDs, 7 INT, and averaged 7.6 yards per pass.

Eric Crouch threw 7 TDs, 10 INT

Jason White has the best resume with 40 TDs and 10 INT.

Jalen Hurts has thrown 15 TD, 7 INT, averaging 7.7 per attempt, and has rushed for 735 yards and 11 TDs.

Hurts would be far from the worst QB to win the Heisman.

And unlike the others, he's only a freshman.

Good mic drop regardless.

Louisville is going to need a Heisman performance to keep it close. I don't think I've ever heard of a Heisman padding their stats in garbage time while losing.

Don't mistake that for me saying he should win the Heisman. Like others have posted, there is at least one player on our defense who is more deserving of the award, and many other impact players on other teams who are just as important and talented. I simply think its asinine to suggest he'd be the worst if he won.

The committee will do everything possible not to give it to a freshman , I mean they had to be dragged to give it to a sophomore and that was just a few years ago . I would love it but just don't see it .
