What a stupid fricking thread

LSU didn’t luck into championships three separate times since Georgia last won it all. LSU has a premier football program because they have zero in state competition in one of the most talent rich states in the country and have serious reach into an even greater talent hotbed, Texas. Louisiana State University has and will be a dominant program because they have a damn strong brand that permeates into the very essence of their university and the entire state. LSU will always compete and win championships regardless of who happens to be coaching there and the sooner you accept that fact the sooner you can reconcile with your second tier status as the Georgia Try-hards.

Can we just admit this season was a perfect storm for LSU?
So what's your excuse for 2018?

You DOOOOO realize that LSU has the second-most national championships in the country in just the last 16 years, right ?????
You DOOOOOO ALSO realize that we have played for a 4th NC and had nearly as impressive a regular season in 2011, right??? (500-123 point diff. against a similar schedule as 2019.)
Lastly, you DOOOOO ALSO realize that LSU finished SIXTH in the nation in 2018, AAAAAND has had a winning season and gone to a bowl IN TWENTY-THREE OF THE LAST TWENTY-FIVE SEASONS, right ???????
What other program can say this ???????
I'll tell you:
ZILCH. NADA, NO ONE, THE NULL SET, NONE !!!!!

Whuuuut.
Regardless, 7 top 10 wins of an undefeated 15-0 season. On top of that, the defending national champion who destroyed Bama the year before. Will never be replicated again.

You actually think trash talking here is wise?
Come back when you win something.

Most NC's have some magic. Look at Lawrence throwing passes and his wr's making otherworldly catches vs Bama. Those wr's were snatching balls that no one thought they would catch.
Tua vs Georgia in the second half.
Deshaun Watson vs a very good Bama d and Clemson showing the college football world how to run legal picks.
Ya know, it's not just the magic that happens for those teams to win titles. It's a lot of work. As Burrow alluded to in an interview. No one saw him and the receivers working out on Saturday and Sunday in the offseason.
OSU beating Bama in the semi final game. Not many gave OSU a chance with a 3rd string qb. Then magic happened.
Your take is weak and reeks of bitterness. This is a classic example of hating the winner. Bama wins a title, we hate them. Clemson wins a title, we hate them. LSU wins a title, we hate them and so it goes.

C'mon Cap, you're better than that. USC hasn't been relevant in a long time. Notre Dame ? When is the last time ND won a title ? It wasn't like they suddenly were bad for 2019. Georgia won the SEC east but they were down ? Auburn gave us our toughest game. They beat Bama. Your post doesn't make sense.

2019 was probably the most down year for college football in the past decade. A whole lot of meh and a better than average team in lsu
You say this the year LSU, Ohio St, and Clemson were all undefeated.
At the same time Daniel has outed himself to calling both A&M and Bama meh

We ALL know that you'll never have this collection of talent and coaching ever again.
Do we ALL now? So the coach that recruited and built this team since 2016, and is still there, suddenly can't recruit anymore...ok...you convinced me...

LSU is recruiting at an elite level right now.
That'll dry up now that you can't steal money from children with cancer to pay recruits

Your dawgs have arguably had just as good recruiting classes as I recall, if not better for an odd year or two, since Kirby's been there. Plus you play in the East. How many NC's have y'all won? Safe to say, then, that it takes more than just a lot of talent?

best team ever. Hard to maintain that level of success
