Your AD must be completely incompetent to hire a lightweight as your FB coach. He obviously doesn’t have what it takes to sell his program to the big wigs that are needed in today’s college FB.The faster yall dump that guy the better off you will be.An SEC school - Silverfeild are you kidding me,that’s as bad as Joe Dean hiring Curley Hallman on the cheap.A once proud program being totally destroyed.

Now admittedly this was when I was a kid in the late sixties but what I remember seeing on the Arky side of the MS river was the largest assembly of parked 18 wheelers I have ever seen to this day.

With the catastrophic decline of St. Louis, Arkansas (West Memphis and Marion) has become one of the biggest transportation hubs in the country. Particularly for rail traffic. Ask me why I know this after living in Marion for far longer than I care to think about.

Demographic trends aren't in our favor when it comes to football. Little Rock used to be football city USA (the city has a ridiculous number of "national" HS titles) and now... not so much. NW Arkansas a has bug like population growth, the rest of the state doesn't.

Financially our rich folks, who are quite rich thank you very much, aren't that interested in football. Basketball? Oh hell, yes. Baseball? Sure. But football? Folks have been burned too many times and the Walmart super wealthy aren't stepping in to help things out since they're locked in a blood feud with the BoT.

Will it get sorted out? Probably. Will it get sorted out anytime soon? Probably not.

It is pretty amusing that somebody would claim that a group of D1 college football players are "soy boys"...

Like any of these football players hang out at coffee houses or book stores

...or libraries.
Exactly. I can think a lot of adjectives that might be used here but Beta Soy Boys doesn't make the list.

Man on this last hire for what you’ve got they should’ve just offered ex players who are high school coaches. Atleast they loved being a hog.

And when I say rise up, I just mean being competitive again. Damn it's been hard to watch.

If by competitive you mean 3 wins a year with some close moral victories?

Call me a sunshine pumper all you want but yes, I have faith that we can get there.

At least your options are limited to.... rising up or nothing.

But seeing as a razorback is nothing more than a glorified feral hog that everyone landowner wants eradicated.... i wouldn't hold my breath.

Until Yuracheck is removed, donors will not bother donating.

Silverfield or anyone else wouldn't or will not succeed with Yuracheck and the BOT.

Why did they pass on QB Drake Lindsey? 2nd year starting at Minnesota. His dad, grandfather, uncles, sister, brother all played at Arkansas.

I did not have the Hogs and Vandy switching spots in the world of college football on my bingo card, but I think it's safe to say that Vandy now has a stronger college football program. Yowza..

LSU didn’t have what it takes to compete on a high level until they hired a far sited president. That was Mark Emmert and he was the one who told Joe Dean to pay this coach what he wants, that coach was Nick Saban.Get the right people in the administration and good things happen.Believe me get the right coach and the big donors will get excited,it happened in Tiger town.

Because Pittman was lazy.

This angered the Lindsey family and stopped donations.

Jim Lindsey passed away in July and he was a multi millionaire.
