It will eventually be known that Elon Musk moved his stuff to Texas to use Texas A&M as his primary talent pipeline.

TEXAS won the Big 12 last year. We beat Ga in 2019, AND Texas was not back. On the other hand, Ga was not heard from 1980 until now.

I feel like the only "weird" thing about A&M (yell leaders) is overblown by rivals. Nobody cares.

Do I wish we had cheerleaders instead? NGL, I do. Am I going to mope because we don't? No.

I think A&M and their traditions are cool.

Gig 'em.

I don't think it's weird if you know the history behind it. Whatever. College tradition is college tradition.

What I do think is weird is the obsession with calling each other "ghey" on message boards and having loads of images ready to go to taunt someone with...that they most likely don't have anything to do with.

So why did he move Tesla to Austin and not CS?

I grew up in Texas also, and the Longhorns were a bunch of draft dodgers and gay-liberal figs who do not represent the state of Texas.

So yeah. We think you are weird also.

I think everyone agrees: both Texas schools are image outliers from real Texans.

That was a battle lost well before the 90's when the city tried that "keep Austin weird" campaign. They priced out the weird and sold their spots to corporations.
The phrase we used was “Don’t California my Austin”. Lost that one too thanks to terrible city leadership.

I completely disagree. I think that a lot of the newer Aggie bandwagon fans that don't embrace their traditions are fricking things up. I love A&M's traditions and wish more schools worked to keep their own.

1. Aggies are the ones who made up and to this day keep telling Aggie jokes. If you were a Texan, you'd know that.

2. The more our culture continues on the path it's on, the stranger and stranger Aggues will become, and the more people like you will question us.

3. You might have heard one or two Kamala Harris fans talk about those despicable backwatd idiot haters on the right. Yeah, those folks are Te as A&M.

Gig 'Em!

UT has a pretty strong military connection. Army Futures Command is in Austin and is tied into the University.

lol. using this obscure fact of geography to try to distance your university from what and who it is culturally. Texas is a stinking pot of woke liberalism more in line with Cal Berkely, and that's a fact.

And NOW for the absolute truth:

Texas A&M is a great academic institution and leads the country in Fortune 500 CEOs because it produces talent from kids that are the "everyday all-american salt of the earth traditional values..."

The kids that go there are into family, god, country, sports, outdoors.

Texas is rated higher academically, and its typical student is the asian/woke/nerd egghead liberal that was a loner in school and uninvolved in sports, cares little for traditional values.

Will A&M change its image? It's image is tbe same- it's America and its culture that have changed rapidly.

The answer, sadly, is probably yes. And that will be a baf thinf for Texas A&M.
