There is no P5 team in the Country that wouldn't have fired Muschamp, we were getting worse every year, and the last recruiting class was proof of how far we were slipping. he was the first FB coach we fired since 1998, I don't think our fans are stupid for wanting change. The culture was not a winning one.

I doubt he was talking about Muschamp, rather the impatience of CFB teams in general now with everyone wanting immediate results.

Yeah Muschamp got 5 years and was clearly not managing the program with any competency. Firing Malzahn was fine too though I don’t think their hire was great. Tennessee should’ve just stuck with Pruitt even with the impending sanctions. Make him eat the worst years then terminate him when the scholarship limits and possible bowl bans are removed.

Vandy is so unserious about being competitive they ought to just given Mason a lifetime contract. They just replaced him with a white guy with a defensive background like the black guy they canned. He will be no more successful either.

I think the average tenure in the SEC is less than it would take for their first whole recruiting class to graduate. I’m saying that Beamer should get 5 years like Muschamp. I doubt he could frick it up any worse and he’s got a longer hill to climb because of Muschamp’s failings too.

I think SC fans expect better than “not worse than Muschamp”.

And my point is quickly firing coaches for performance only extends the misery.

However I don't think he will fail, in fact I think he will be successful and will be here a long time

I agree. I can't understand the negativity towards him or his staff. He'll be here 8 to 10 years at least
