I think the main reason it’s allowed is because everyone enjoys watching those crybabies in Baton Rouge. I’ve never seen as many grown arse men acting like little beotches in my life. I’ve called this the cowbell and crybabies bowl for years.

They don’t. It’s the same rule that applies to DJs and Bands in the stadium. It has to stop when the ball is set and can’t start again until the play is dead.
The rule update was passed unanimously by all the SEC schools.
