Kentucky can absolutely win.

UF has a new OL, new QB, and a new offensive system.

That being said, I doubt UF's offense can be much more retarded than last year, and even with Jeff Driskel at QB UF put up a lot of yards on UK.

UF's defense should also be better against the big play next year, which was a problem early in the year in 2014 which let UK have a chance to win. I doubt UK gets any free TDs by blown coverages next year.

They're also probably deeper on defense than they've been in recent memory. They should see some significant improvement in the secondary with guys like West finally healthy.

If UK couldn't beat UF w/ Muschump at the helm, I can't see it happening anytime soon.

Should have beat them last year if not for the refs help.

Nope, 4. 2 of those players were pretty underwhelming as well, but the reason they played was due to season-ending injuries that occurred before the season, and some true freshmen hitting a wall in learning the playbook.
Stoops (for the first time in his time at UK) has sounded very optimistic about the team. Said between the end of last season, and now, they've improved significantly, specifically up the middle. All of our DB's have another year under their belt (CB's are both going to be seniors next season), and we've added depth there, and at the linebacker position as well.

Cats will win. Florida won't be able to snap the ball after the play clock expires in Lexington.

Yep, you found us out. Never have any bad calls against the Gators. Ever.

Can Kentucky win? Sure. I think they have a solid shot but its hard getting over the hump sometimes. I may look like a jackass for saying this... but Kentucky beats someone folks think they shouldn't and goes bowling this year.

09.05 vs Louisiana–Lafayette = 80 / 20 win
09.12 @ South Carolina = 40 / 60 win
09.19 vs Florida = 40 / 60 win
09.26 vs Missouri = 50 / 50 win
10.03 vs Eastern Kentucky = 80 /20 win
10.15 vs Auburn = 30 / 70 win
10.24 @ Mississippi State = 50 / 50 win
10.31 vs Tennessee = 40 / 60 win (Breeders Cup weekend?)
11.07 @ Georgia = 30 / 70 win
11.14 @ Vanderbilt = 70 /30 win
11.21 vs Charlotte = rent a win
11.28 vs Louisville = 60 / 40 win

Looking that schedule and your note that the Tennessee game is Breeder's Cup weekend. Its also Halloween. That is going to be the most insane weekend in the history of Lexington. Top it off with the fact that Pharaoh will likely be in the Breeder's Cup Classic at around football game time on Saturday. A city of 350,000, with an infrastructure to match, will be as screwed up and congested as Oxford, Mississippi is on an Ole Miss football weekend.

Kentucky can beat UF but I would take UF to win. The UF defense was horrible last year vs UK. I think the defense will player better if the offense is better too then it will be a blow out.

Given that UK really outplayed them and probably should have won last year on the road, they easily could.

UF will have a first year coach and it sometimes takes a coach a season or two before he has the team gelled the way he likes it.
