2014 game, triple OT

Game is in Lexington this year. Will be the first real game FL plays, and Ky is coming out of the SC game.

Kentucky is only going to be better.

Florida was given that game and should've lost to KY in the Swamp last year.

Florida will enter it's 5th straight rebuilding year in 2015.

Thoughts?

You should call Vegas with that pick.

Yes they have a great shot I think if they played them towards the end of the season probably not.

Don't see it happening.

I think the timing of the game is critical, and bodes well for the cats. I think this game is a total toss up, and I will enjoy the hell out of being there.

50/50 game IMO.

A lot depends on how UF's OL shapes up this Fall.

We open with New Mex State...which should be a cake game and follow by playing East Carolina, a team which might be on the same level with Kentucky.

I'm not going to say we will 100% beat UK, but seeing as how they have UL-L then @USC before us, we should walk in with the advantage.

The thinking (hoping) goes like this: we catch them early in the season before Mc gets their shite sorted out on offense.

That said, I also agree that we will likely be more beat up entering week 3.

Yes. GA Southern and Vandy beat UF recently and now it's UK's turn. UF will lose to every team in the NCAA except UT.

Kentucky can beat Florida in any given year. The issue is getting beyond the mental hurdle after not doing so for so many years. At some point the streak will end, and this year is as good as any to make this happen.

Lots of reasons to be optimistic as a UK fan. Game is early in the season, new stadium, first SEC home game, Coach Mac is gonna have to implement a new system, he lost 7 offensive starters, and their defensive star, UK returns a lot of experience, moving to a 3-4 base defense full-time (which UK does better out of), more depth, and the game was very good last season down in Gainesville.
I think UK could win this one. Can't wait to watch though, regardless. Will be fun to watch.
