Nope, he is 100% correct and it's pretty annoying that Alabama fans don't know ball enough to realize that anymore.

He just threw his players under the bus to run cover for his man crush OC.

The team will quit on him now.

Now, go ahead, post the screenshots.

Eh…I’d say 80% correct. When you aren’t getting consistent execution it’s time to simplify the playbook a bit.

Some of it I think is clearly confusion on the players part

Alabama has played a more difficult schedule than anyone else. It'll better prepare us for the playoffs.

Does this ever happen? Or does it just allow a much fresher Big 10 team to waltz through the playoffs?

In any event, I don't think Bama has to worry about the playoffs this year.

No he didn't. And if the players weren't already aware they've had execution problems, that's an even bigger issue.

Go watch the film, it's really easy these days with many you tube channels, you don't even have to hunt up the clips anymore.

In our last game, Josh Ford had a really tough time. Not a lack of effort, but just missed blocks and what not. KR is getting better with the RPO for whatever reason, but still has troubles. Gave away a TD on a wrong read in one case.

That's what championship teams do, identify the failures and fix them.

So you never watched football during the bcs era I take it. This is what literally every talking head said. “The sec dominates bcs games bc it’s just another game for sec teams, every Saturday is a bcs game to n the sec”

He's not perfect, but he's not the problem and he's not bad either. I can think of multiple Saban OC that I think were worse.

This is an idiotic comment. One thing I’ll give Alabama fans is that they know ball.

Far from throwing the players under the bus, he is self-identifying as a poor coach that has not properly prepared his employees to excel at their jobs.

If employees aren't doing their duties properly, then that person needs to be replaced. If the employee has been taught how to do a job and refuses to do it, that is grounds for dismissal. If the employee, otoh, can't physically complete a task after being instructed on how to do so, he also needs replacing.

He makes it sound as if he and other coaches are doing everything just as it should be done and are irreproachable, but the people "players" making good money to do their jobs either refuse to or can't physically do their jobs.

I mean, the Film Guy said as much about the TAMU tape. One guy misses a block and it stops a 20+ yard gain.
