Unlike Ole Miss, they don't have the Plumlee wildcard that runs a 4.2-4.3 forty with Rich Rod calling plays

Armytide pretty much hit the nail on the head with his post. Best way to stop LSU is to limit the amount of possessions they have on offense, and the best way to do that would be a running game that can consistently get first downs. Eat up clock on scoring drives and a couple of turnovers and you would be golden.

Most likely they will. They have elko and they've dominated every offense they've seen this season. Did you see how they treated Fromm?!?!

Won't the game conditions include some rain and a sloppy playing field? If so, that makes it a difficult game to predict, folks.

They gave up 47 to the Gumps, the most similar offense to LSU they’ve faced up to this point

Alabama technically scored 40 on offense, but also stopped trying to score after Shavers blocked that punt and got a TD with over 10 minutes left in the 4th; I imagine that Alabama's O would have scored on that punt and probably could have gotten another.

If LSU doesn't call off the dogs at some point, they'll break 50, no doubt.

Yes. Yes they can. Will they? Doubtful. Depends on the weather, luck, and scheme. The athletes are there though from what I have seen.

Unlike Ole Miss, aTm reserves the ability to mix in a real passing attack with the ground game when needed. That will help, but they need to be run heavy early IMO.

Ole Miss’ speed in the backfield was what gave us issues and A&M just doesn’t have that kind of team. Mond isn’t Plumlee. Their backs are not as fast. Their line is below average. This is the kind of attack our D has actually been able to slow down this year.
