this is nothing more than a writer trying to get readers. I agree that Cam has his troubles but this is all over exaggerated.
the guy the writer is quoting wasn't putting this in an article. This is from the Draft review that is done on each player.

I'd say he hit the nail on the head. Especially with the first sentence.
Not even close. Newton's focus is not in question by anyone with a brain, not sure what crawled up this guy's arse but he's clueless about Newton. This is the exact opposite of what every Auburn coach feels about Newton. Newton commanded respect of his fellow players, you don't lead a team the way he did and not. Anyone that says you can do what he did with the team and not have leadership is a damn fool.

So you dont agree with him always knowing where the cameras are and being an "entertainer" ?
Take off your fricking blindfold.

when did this guy? From everything I've heard most agree with me. He has his problems but not nearing as bad as the magazine tries to make it.

Auburn Tigers - you people should change your name to the Auburn Ostriches.
Everytime someone says something you disagree with you bury your head in the sand - cry sig Heil or attack the credibilty of the author.
I bet you Guys are loving Chris Lowe after his article yesterday. Last month he was slime. What a bunch of hypocrits.
Before all you barnyard yocals jump down my throat I'm talking about the ones who think being objective is anything published on ITAT.

As good as he has been, this point is so obvious it's almost undebatable. In college, this activity gets you on Sportscenter and makes cleat-chaser's knees shake. In the NFL, I doubt a whole lot of 13-year veteran O-Lineman will have pantie drizzle over his smile. Hopefully we get a ruling out of the courts quickly so we can see how it plays out rather than playing Nostradamus on message boards.

Are you all serious? There were many cameras on him throughout the season he didn't have to know where they were...
that is what makes the critique ridiculous as the cameras were always on Cam.

Cam is a pos always has been always will be

Exactly what I am saying.

If an o-lineman was hopping on walls, waving shite, and running around like a 12 year old after every play the cameras would be on him too.....thats the point.

28-27 still stings huh?
And that article in the OP is anything but objective.

By saying that you just basically proved his point

Always knows where the cameras are and plays to them. Has an enormous ego with a sense of entitlement that continually invites trouble and makes him believe he is above the law -- does not command respect from teammates and will always struggle to win a locker room . . . Lacks accountability, focus and trustworthiness -- is not punctual, seeks shortcuts and sets a bad example. Immature and has had issues with authority. Not dependable.
Like many of today's sports stars. He should fit in well.
