Cam Newton SEC hypothetical.

How many of the teams in the SEC in 2015 could have won the National Championship with Cam Newton at qb? This type of question might have been better three or four years ago when he first entered the league, because he's obviously on a whole other level now, but I'm going to run with it anyways.
I honesty think out of the 14 sec teams, 10 would have won the 2015 title with him at the helm. All 7 teams from the west, and Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee from the east. Sorry to say, I don't think even Cam could have saved Scar's season (or below) in the east this year.

Almost every SEC team in 2010 would've won the national championship with him as QB.
Greatest one man team I've ever seen. Still not sure why anyone else was even invited to NY for the Heisman ceremony.

lsu is undefeated in 2010 with Newton and in 2015. Think of Cam and Fournette in the read option. It's like pick your poison.

The thing that everyone forgets is you have to be willing to use Cam in a specific way where his gifts exploit defensive weaknesses. Shula realized this in desperation when his job was on the line last season. Gus figured it out in 2010, but it is possible to have Cam as the QB and not put him in a position to use those never seen before gifts in such a way that dominates.

If only the SOB wouldn't have been kicked out of UF we'd have 4-5 NCs. Frick.

No. I think you forgot some of the teams that were playing in the West at that time. Ole Miss was terrible. MSU wasn't very good. Bama and LSU wouldve no doubt gone undefeated if they were willing to adapt the offense to him. Arkansas maybe. I don't remember A&M since they weren't in the SEC at that point so I can't give an opinion there.
Out of the east I don't think anybody does.
People only remember Cam (for good reason) but it wouldn't have happened without that Oline, Fairley, and Bynes either.

State was better than Auburn at every position other than QB that year.

Mizzou and Vandy probably would've as well. Both had good defenses but awful QB play.

State loses at least 2 games that year with cam... Likely to Bama and LSU which is still a great year

Cam had a fantastic year, but y'all weren't exactly wrecking teams left and right. I remember a lot of one possession wins for auburn that year. State's defense was way more talented than auburn's.

Auburn: QB, RB, WR, OLine, Dline
MSU: Secondary, LBs.
