Cam's ability to run the ball when needed is the only reason he is still in the NFL. He was the best on 3rd and 3 in college. Couldn't stop him from making those plays.

Sadly this is likely true. He developed into a good enough passer in the NFL, that combined with his running ability made him a nightmare. Unfortunately the body can only take so many hits and even Cam has worn down. His arm was shot this past year and I don’t suspect that will change in the future.

It is fun watching the Bammers hang on to every word of a player who hasn’t played CF in 11 seasons. It would be like AU fans posting everything that Greg McElroy says. You would think the butthurt would subside over time, but I guess it gets stronger for them. Still hoping the NCAA steps in . Lol.

In all seriousness, I do wonder how much longer this experiment of the dual-threat QB (in college and NFL) will last.
There are obvious exceptions like Mahomes, but in general more of the franchise guys still seem to be pure passers.
