He said no excuses last. So he followed your advice.

The thing to do after saying you have no excuses is not to proceed to list excuses.

He actually listed the excuses first and then gave Wisconsin a cursory mention.

What I did notice, however, was Calipari was too busy yelling at a kid who had just fouled and came to the bench, Calipari's back turned to the game IN PROGRESS, then to coach his own team with less than a minute and a half left in the game.

I found that quite interesting.

So you're saying its better to list your excuses PRIOR TO saying you have no excuses?

"Excuse" me if I offer to you that that is no better way to do it.

I'm pretty sure every coach in all of CBB has done exactly the same thing. Probably this year.

That non-call was pretty horrible.

I don't give a shite about basketball but I saw the interview and the OP is taking this WAY out of context. He said that his player made a mistake, and there may have been a shot clock violation but he'll have to check the film. Then literally the next thing he said was that they had plenty of opportunities to win the game but they didn't come through. And he complimented Wisconsin multiple times

Yeah, I didn't think Calipari said anything wrong in the interview.

So everyone who agrees with me on the Rant is white knighting now?

Can't say I'm surprised by that Rant rationale.

No I'm just messing with him because he seems more upset about the loss than you do.
