I don't see how you are anyone else actually "stuck anything" to LSU fans. Honestly it just shows the stupidity level of yourself and others that attempt to compare a female basketball player in the modern day... to a male basketball player from the late '60s.

This is not necessarily all about WBB, it's about the media, social media and a narrative.

So no denial. Got it.
I would ask you to meet me at Sonic to settle this, but I don't want you to get the wrong idea.

The agenda being to attract more of the the untapped demographic of women to their website and TV broadcasts. ESPN's agenda is to increase viewership and thus ad revenues, just like every other media company.

I'd say much of this was fomented by disgruntled fans who hated seeing LSU beat her last year.

This isn't some sort of new push with an agenda about being woke or anything.
It's simply an attempt to make a story.
We had the same thing when people tried to make Pat Summitt's number of wins a NCAA basketball record rather than a women's basketball record.
We also had the same thing when Eddie Robinson or John Gagliardi were hyped for setting football win records rather than records for wins at the level of college football they coached at.
News organizations want stories, and they'll make up stories they can get away with to have something to report on. That's all this is. There's no political agenda, but rather a financial one.

Agenda? Geez, you are making too big a deal about a basketball player making a basket.

Look, I know ESPN and the other liberal talking heads are trying to push this "she broke the NCAA record" talking point, but we all know that's garbage.

Actually she did. Now if you want to argue 3 years vs more, etc, that is fine. But she has scored more points than any other person in college basketball history, like it or not.
Some of you need something real to worry about in your lives if this triggers you so.
Should we discount Hank Aaron's HR record? I mean, he had 12,364 ABs (one HR for every 16.3 ABs) to Ruth's 8,399 (one for every 11.75), nearly 50% more.
How about Mr. Huge Head Bonds? He had 9,847 ABs. Should his record be recognized, steroids and all, especially with about a third less ABs than Aaron?
If Maravich had the 3 point line and 4 years, no telling how many he would have scored.
But good for her. It's a crap load of points at any level.

Great, congrats Caitlyn. You own the women's record. That's honestly an amazing feat, and she should be proud. But she didn't break the men's record.
Nobody said she broke the men's record. She broke the overall record. You're the one assigning gender here.
Also, what agenda?
