It's not just this. It's the constant sunshine pumping of disappointment that has to drive UT fans crazy.
He's like a make-believe caricature at this point that needs to wake up from this world where wins and losses don't matter. That's what he gets paid to do, not build life champions. That should just be a side effect.

Tennessee? If Tennessee were lying in front of us on fire and our bladder was so full that it could rupture at any second, we'd still drive five miles to the nearest gas station to use the bathroom. And then we'd drive back with a five-gallon can of gas.

Damn. I think Gus is a doofus and he irritates me to no end with his paranoid "we had a good week of practice" pressers during the season.
UT deserves better and I don't blame y'all for hating his guts. Is there not anyone in the athletic dept that can sit him down and tell him to dial it back a few notches?
