...might be the greatest coach in America. It's a shame he coaches in a state where folks could give a lesser shite about football.

What has he ever won? He's a great recruiter. That's about it.
He's a Les Miles that can speak well.

I'd love to have him at LSU. I don't know if he wants in the SEC though.

He rebuilt Miami. Miami was a dumpster fire when he got there.
He's a good coach and would be an upgrade for at least half of the SEC.

Davis is a great coach i agree with that. He has alot of good players and they may have the top defense in the ACC

Saban had never had a 10 win season until he got to LSU, and he only had 2 when he got to Bama.

Saban is a good example.

Butch did it at Miami which has a lot of local talent but turrible facilities (and the curse of Donna ShalalalalallalalLallaHe).

Sorry but I had to bump this. People underestimate this guy in my opinion. He took a team on probation missing about 30 scholarships a year and built the greatest college football team ever. The 2001 Canes were so good that even an awful coach like Coker couldn't screw it up. He's also the only one to get the worthless Cleveland Browns franchise to the playoffs.

Did Tennessee even take a look at him?

Last year, yes. He said no.

This year, I don't think they pursued him.
