Then maybe his team shouldn’t have put it in reverse in OT? Idk, seems like a bad strategy to me.

What a douchebag. Perfect coach for that program.

This is a dumb statement. If anything rebuilding is longer because you are bound to lose players to the portal.

He’s speaking in context. What has LSU done lately? Win a few big games early in the season only to waste their chances shortly after and end up in the Outback bowl? That’s what he’s talking about.

Flip the script, what has Ole Miss done besides perpetually run their mouth?

Yeah I get Bama or UGA making comments like that, but Ole Miss hasn’t earned the right to have that attitude towards LSU.

Lol, wth has OM done lately!? BK in his first two seasons has 10 wins, a west title and a Heisman. OM has never won EITHER!! And BK did in year 1 & 2. This fricked up narrative CFB has about LSU the last couple years is comical!!

Replacing a Heisman winner and several other high draftees isn’t a rebuild?

He had to replace all that talent and all of the coaches on defense and replace his OC. It was going to take numerous games this season to get this team to gel. They still are.

On the flip side, OM will never be a “program” of LSU’s caliber

At one point they were the superior program. Granted we are talking about 60+ years ago. The difference is that Ole Miss reverted to the norm. Moving past a certain level is always going to be rough for them. I feel their pain, Arkansas is in the same boat and our boosters are nearly as eager to piss away their fortunes buying players.

LSU, while being a respected, and at times formidable, was very much a sleeping giant. And then Saban dropped his blueprint on how to make LSU a perennial power house. Hold onto instate talent and recruit the hell out of East Texas. Right now LSU has a surplus of talent available to them. They may not always put it together, but their highs are going to be higher than Ole Miss and their lows aren't going to be as low.

I'm not saying that Ole Miss will never capture lightning in a bottle and have a magical season, I'm just saying that LSU is far more likely to do that and do it far more often.

The problem is Kiffin.

He lacks mental toughness, mental discipline and his teams reflect it. He would have the same problems anywhere else until he figures that out.

That means grow up, cut out all the stupid online antics, quit trying to be a damn personality in football, and get tough.

More excuses for BK. You are rebuilding from a 3 loss season?

Any team with post season aspirations has the right to make that statement. I still believe Ole Miss could probably beat 9 of the 12 teams that eventually end up in the playoffs.

LSU admittedly got lazy as a team and fanbase after bouncing passes of your helmets back to the QB for 40 yard first downs and setting records on you. What can we say... Speaking off, did yall ever beat Orgeron?

Not surprised coming from him he is the same guy who told Alshon Jeffery if he went to SC he'd grow up pumping gas at a gas station...now Alshon has a ring and a degree and a legacy in SC.

Sounds good, doesn't work.

The majority of the players in the portal are there because they weren't getting playing time, are chasing money, or were at a smaller school.

There are very few top tier contributors there.

Irrelevant. They lined up on the field last night against LSU and lost. Good teams find ways to win in those types of games. OM didn’t and what is so typical for them is that their coach is running his mouth about LSU in way he hasn’t earned the right to do.
