Neither do I. I haven't even seen the video in question. I simply remarked that if it's as bad as rival fans said it was (and it almost never is), then he should be suspended. I don't think we needed Jermaine Burton to defeat Mississippi State, so I doubt Saban was covering for the guy last night. After an investigation into the events in question, it's likely just a case of the nothing burger.

Saban said that they had more of the story than has been reported and after getting the story he didn’t feel that he needed to suspend him. That’s an important thing to mention. I’m not saying he should or shouldn’t have been suspended, nor am I defending anything Burton did, but I believe Alabama gathered all of the info they could on the matter.
