Perhaps it was just the "athletes to win the SEC" part.
I'll concede that there are 3 games on the schedule I don't think we have a chance in hell to win. We don't have the experience under center or on the O line.
However, we don't have to be competing for the SEC crown to start the season 7-0. We could have a 9-3 season and still only be the 7th best team in the SEC (losing to LSU, Bama, UPig, not playing USC, UGA, UF).
It's all about the schedule.

Greek life? No different than most other schools Greek life in the SEC...been there done that
oxford square? ok that is great, but is great because it's part of ole miss per se, or is it great because of the nature of the town (small quaint town in MS)
Unless i wanted to be an accountant or an attorney, I really dont see what is so great about the curriculum at the university...what other areas is ole miss known for? I mean, it's not really known for any of its science/math based offerings...(which btw will be the only way my children will get any financial assistance from me)...
