It looks like they have been working hard this summer. The defense should be much more improved while the offense will take some time to jell.
The big difference will need to be on offensive line for state. They were atrocious while trying to pass protect last year. It was the big difference in the 2010 & 2011 season.

UK.. the Defense is going to carry the team this year and the offense will be productive enough to take care of business and maybe suprise a few teams!

I think their defense has carried state the last few years. Hopefully they can take care of business on the O-Line and not allow Russel to get sacked.
Hopefully my cats will do something this year. I would love to beat UT again but we really need a win over Florida. The way Vandy is looking we might be competing again for 5th in the east again this year.

I guess. I mean, losing a football game to a rival sucks, especially when there are multiple losses in a row and even more especially when y'all are so goddamned annoying about it, but you see our love for Ole Miss isn't predicated on the Egg Bowl.
We're not like you. We don't need to beat you to know we're better than you. We don't need football wins to justify our alma mater. It's goddamned great to be a Rebel, regardless of when we last won the Egg Bowl. I know it kind of sucks for you that the only meaningful sport that you've traditionally kept up with us in has become the most lopsided in one team's favor as it's been in modern times.
