Hurts played at Bama longer than Burrow played at LSU. Hurts graduated from ALABAMA. Burrow graduated from OHIO STATE.
But all this "claiming" talk is getting ridiculous. Both can claim these guys, if it matters what internet posters think (and it doesn't).

Burrow actually played longer at LSU and also graduated from LSU.

1) he graduated from athens HS and is really proud of his hometown so why would he not claim there
2) he has an undergrad degree from Ohio State...so why would he not claim there
3) he has a masters from LSU and played all of his college games at LSU...hence why he claims LSU too

Yes, it is absolutely RIDICULOUS... all this jealousy. Does it matter. Burrow played 3 years at OSU.... He was the backup to JT Barrett in 2015 and 2016 and then battled Dwayne Haskins for the starting job in 2017. They were neck and neck for the job when Joe broke his hand and the rest is history... He was to good to sit and what OSU got out of haskins was 50 some Td's and 5000 yards. It worked out well for both sides.
Coincidentally, Joe was an academic all BIG10 at OSU and received his masters from LSU'
Says alot about the kids character .
