Brought up on Finebaum:

Bret Bielema – University of Wisconsin
Art Briles – Baylor University
Mike Gundy – Oklahoma State University
Brady Hoke – University of Michigan
Les Miles – Louisiana State University
David Shaw – Stanford University
Bill Snyder – Kansas State University
Kevin Sumlin – Texas A&M University (2011 – University of Houston)
Dabo Swinney – Clemson University

Anyone missing?

I vote for Dabo.

Maybe an Alabama coach will win this award again, someday.

Hoke or Snyder. Miles lost it Monday (unless voting is done before?)

Bill Snyder easily. Bielema has Russell Wilson and Montee Ball, Art Briles has RGIII and Kendall Wright, Gundy has Weeden and Blackmon, Hoke has Shoelaces, Shaw has Luck, Swinney has Sammy Watkins, Sumlin has Keenum, and everybody knows how talented LSU is. Who are the elite players on Kansas State? I can't think of any. Bill Snyder is a miracle worker and one of the greatest coaches in the last 25 years.

I agree with this, even though I think Hoke deserves it.

I would go with either Hoke or Snyder, take your pick but mine would be Snyder. From shitty to mediocre to pretty good.

And then make some snide remarks like Kyle Whittingham did in 2009.

Dabo Swinney's crapfest in the Orange Bowl will probably prevent him from winning the award. Same thing goes for Les Miles in the BCS title game. It's gonna be Hoke or Gundy. I personally think the award should go to Hoke. He turned Michigan around real quick. They go from 7-6 in 2010 to 11-2 and Sugar Bowl champions in 2011.
