That is all? Who are you gonna marry and kill?

I bet you would marry Auburn (farm bros) and kill Ole Kiss.

It’s June

When signing day was Feb, June was a ways off. Now, the middle of June signifies the recruiting cycle is half over. If you’re ranked 50-fricking-seven in recruiting rankings, your program simply isn’t recruiting and there is nothing on the horizon. Nothing.

Maybe take a look at the commitment list. If you don’t understand how that could improve rapidly and drastically I’m not sure anybody here can help you.

Gus’s last class was ranked in the 60s…in December. We finished 20th in the middle of a coaching change.

He has a tough rebuilding job ahead. The roster he's inheriting is pretty much garbage... bottom half of the league for certain. As bad as I've seen the roster there in a long, long time.

The roster he inherited went 6-4 in the SEC with mostly FR and SO contributors. That was with the most dysfunctional coaching staff in CF. Bama fans are just wishing on a star with BH.

Bama recruiting June of 2017

"Riding a streak of seven straight No. 1 classes, the Crimson Tide had just four commitments by mid-June 2017. It didn't crack the top 50 of the rankings until the fifth pledge arrived in late June to push Nick Saban's bunch to No. 47."

Sir you better hope your AD is a genius or AU will be looking up at Ole Miss and Miss State in the coming years.

And you continue to wish upon that star. I know you are still mad it wasn't Steele.

I have no dog in the hunt. You're just another week on the schedule.

So what's your record prediction for AU this season?

Depends on how much he can develop Nix and work out Gus's influence on him.

It's way too early to be making any hard judgments on Harsin, but I'm not unsatisfied with regard to recruiting right now. Hell, that he managed to salvage the class last cycle was a minor miracle.

We're not positioned badly for 23 quite yet either. The commit list isn't really indicative of much at the moment. Super early.
