They’re both likely overrated due to their last names, but I’ll wait to watch them play at least a few games in college before digging in my heels on a hot take

One takeaway, though….Bronny is a 4 star while Arch was the #1 overall recruit. Much more room for Bronny not to light the world on fire to avoid being called overrated

I remember when Longhorn fans convinced themselves that Saban was house-shopping in Austin during his easy decision to leave Bama and replace Mack Brown.

And I remember when a&m thought they were going to pull a come-from-behind upset against arch rival App State

Still doesn't answer my question: if everyone outside of Austin thought Arch was a 3-star, how come the two coaches responsible for the last three national titles decided he was worth pursuing until the very end?

Hasn't even played a snap yet.. Chill bro.

I imagine it will be the Nico Lavalava guy anyway. $8 Mil is pretty steep. It'd be a shame if he flopped bigly.

Because why not? It’s not like it’s costs them anything to do so.

Arch is probably overrated but he'll get help in coaching (esp. in the off-season at these QB camps).

One of the reasons Arch was "underrated" is because he doesn't do the off season camps. He has grown up with NFL Hall of Fame Uncles, and been groomed by their QB coaches and mentors since he could hold a ball. Like he's really going to learn a lot at a QB camp with ... Trent Dilfer or some other fill in the blank QB pretender ...
