And I'll say it for a third time, LSU doesn't have those kinds of players at many positions. They're playing a lot of 3 stars and lower level transfers, the talent they do have (on paper) that you're referring to are busts (like 5 star Sage Ryan) or are very young players. They also lost two highly ranked players in Guillory and Perkins to injury. We're used to LSU teams with studs everywhere, this team isn't that. Some of that is due to what Orgeron left, some of that is due to Kelly's initial hires and failures in the portal and in recruiting. The lack of dawgs isn't an excuse for Kelly, it's his fault.

I'm saying LSU does not have the kind of elite players that past teams like 2011 LSU or 2019 LSU had, Kelly has absolutely elevated the talent and results vs what he took over.
