BK was on the hot seat.
DeBoer gets an extension.
If you want to hard-time Bama and DeBoer, I'm with you. We have stunk on ice.
But, LSU got beat by this DeBoer fellow both seasons. And one of them with Milroe.

That's better than having the lower ranked classes of LSU and then even worse attrition plus sanctions.
It is. Which is why we have performed better since that time.
With that all being said, if DeBoer has another season of four losses in 2026, he'll likely find himself on the hot seat in 2027.

I agree and that's why I think this extension was so dumb.
I think DeBoer is a good coach, he just didn't need to receive an extension, that's a dumb business move.

OP imagine your school committing $13m per annum to a coach that was boatraced by Indiana

It's a market reset and there isn't anyone else on th e market that's better so we have to have some stability in the program.

The dude already has a huge, guaranteed contract and has lost 8 games over his first two seasons, if he wants to take an inferior job, let him.
I don't buy that Michigan was really all that interested in him, he doesn't run the ball.
