Congrats to the LSU AD for salvaging this train wreck of a coaching search after Riley and Napier told them to frick OFF!!!
I’m glad they didn’t pursue Aranda, who undoubtedly let LSU know through back channels he wasn’t interested.
But let’s be honest here, the only reason the majority of LSU fans on this board are excited about such a vanilla hire are
A. they feel they “stole” ND’s coach, which plays perfectly into the massive LSU inferiority complex
B. Riley left them at the alter

I agree. I clearly said he was an above average hire. But I’m not going to join in the zealotry of the LSU fan base to spare their tender feelings.
He is a good hire, certainly above average, but hardly the home run we were promised.
