Let me get this straight.
LSU never rostered a NFL player
They have now filled their roster limit of 105 of SEC eligible players
What are we talking about?
You know want to kick LSU out and the conference has to figure out the following?
Media Deals
Sponsorships
Ticket Sales
CFP Considerations
Game Forfeits
Future Scheduling
All other SEC Sports

Nothing, now. Because they filled their roster today. Showing they're not waiting for legal ambiguity to slip the two players back into the roster.

Simping for SEC leadership is pathetic. Every fan base should think the SECs actions are utter bullshite. Don't be a bitch. The conference is better with LSU in it just as it is with UGA, Bama, etc

You should care. This impacts the university you claim to care for. Let them make emotional decisions.
We've been asking for the adults in the room to make sense of this, but we've been left with children. Now you have school presidents involved who are out of their element when it comes to sports and media.

I don't think Wright, Harris, or any of these others were drafted either.
They were ruled ineligible by being told their eligibility had expired, so they moved on and started trying to get with an NFL team. Then a judge made a ruling that their college entrance class (the 2022 group) retained a year, under the 5 for 5 ruling.
I guess the defining difference is that Pavia and Chambliss immediately filed in court to defy the NCAA's rules and sat around waiting for that, while this group in question initially tried to move on to the NFL. If that's the actual reason, all it does is to invite a thousand preemptive lawsuits, instead of there being any consistent application of what any of the rulings do for others in the same situation.

Sankey is going to get roasted on a spit by some player's attorney over this. Someone's going to invoke the antitrust laws, and the SEC and NCAA will lose.
It won't be LSU most likely, as they will be as hurt as every other program. But a kid who feels he has been screwed out of an NIL deal, while there are other "NCAA ineligible" players making millions on NIL deals, they will push the issue. And you can't win that by arguing that one cause of ineligibility (completion of the allotted seasons to play) is debatable, but another (contact with a pro organization) is not. Or even worse, that there are levels to how far you can go with a pro organization before you lose eligibility... after the fact. Remember, the rule going in was ANY contact.
Couple in the confusing nature of various pro sports drafts (in baseball you can be drafted, but still play in college; in football you forfeit your eligibility if you declare)... that's just a disaster waiting to happen.

The NCAA has folded in every antitrust suit. Because they own college football. It's a monopoly.
The SEC does not have that. Nor does it have an outright ban of playing these players. An SEC team is legally allowed to do so, they'll simply pay the fine that's levied by the bylaws they voted for.
