A young mother would still be alive if it wasn’t for Nate Oats and his basketball program. Very very sad.
It’s not just the basketball program, it’s the entire athletic program.
Zero accountability.
Remember when Saban blamed Henry Ruggs driving over 100mph and murdering an innocent young woman and her dog on his friends that let him drive?
Culture.

What do you think of the fact that it came out in court that the victim, Jamea Harris, handed Johnson his gun? Is she as guilty as Miller and Miles? Clearly you believe she was an accomplice.
Brandon Miller did not know the shooter Davis. Davis was one of Miles friends from back home in Baltimore.
Miles asked Miller to bring him his gun. Miles gave the gun to Davis. Davis confronted the car that had pulled up with it’s headlights off after getting in an earlier dispute with them.
Someone fired the first shot and then the gunfight was on.
What blows my mind after reading the testimony so far is that only one side was charged.

Did you not read the article to know he was already on the way to pick him up because he was his ride. You guys are trying to make Brandon out to be a bad person and he did nothing wrong criminally or morally.

LSU fans certainly have a lot of recent experience with their players shooting and killing Innocent bystanders. Finally a thread they can actually contribute to.

Spoken by someone who naively thinks the American legal system would never ever ever do something not so nice. If you were walking your dog and witness a murder from a block away, you should probably get a lawyer before talking to the cops.

I must have missed that story. Who was that?

Lol, you guys just can't get over it
quote:
Miller, who has not been accused of wrongdoing, had driven the gun to the scene where it was taken out of the car by Miles and Davis. Miller's name was first mentioned in connection with the case in a February 2023 hearing, when a police investigator testified that Miller drove his Dodge Charger, which had Miles' gun in the back seat, to The Strip that night and that Miles had texted Miller to do so.
quote:
On Thursday, Miller was asked by Chief Assistant District Attorney Paula Whitley whether he had been offered anything in exchange for not being charged with a crime in this case. Miller testified: "No promises. Just being cooperative."
quote:
Miller said Miles then texted him while Miller was driving, saying, "I need my joint. ... RL [real life] jus got da fakin'." Miller explained that Miles was telling him he needed his gun (joint) because someone was "putting on a front" (fakin'). Miles texted Miller to first pick him up at Twelve25 and later at Bradley's car.
Miller testified under cross-examination from defense counsel John Robbins that he interpreted "fakin'" as someone threatening or "trying to scare" Miles. Miller testified that Miles did not tell him the exact reason he needed his gun and that Miles did not tell him he was going to give it to Davis or that it would be used.
quote:
Dashcam footage showed Miller and Lee discussing what Miles and Davis might have been up to after they left the car. As they talked, shots were heard. Davis was then seen on the footage in front of Miller's car. Davis shot two bullets into Miller's car -- striking the windshield and almost hitting Miller -- while running away. Either Miller or Lee is heard saying, "Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God."
As Miller sped away, either Miller or Lee is heard on the dashcam saying, "We almost just got killed" and asking, "What the f--- just happened?"

quote:Then Alabama fans defend the guy who brought the gun to the scene so his buddy could murder the gang member because he was fricking good at basketball.
Imagine two gang members get into an altercation late at night. They have been drinking. They have guns. This is what happens.
Bama fans have zero class. Win at all costs, even if you have to murder someone to get it. Break a neck falling up a flight of stairs? Done. Need a gat to handle some ninja frontin? Done. Dindu Nothing wrong. This is what happens they say
