Auburn football fans haven’t had much to celebrate for a long time. This is the best day they have had in years.

That almost sounds like a setup.

If an uber driver gives a drunk guy a ride from point A to point B, and that that ends up murdering someone once he gets to point B…should the uber driver be charged with accessory to murder?
Idgaf about basketball but this is getting ridiculous

But it wasn’t a farmer and his friend wasn’t on a farm. He was in a college town at a place surrounded by bars, drunks and a lot of testosterone. Again, he knew the friends intent, especially when he says “there’s one in the head”. Might as well said “it’s ready to smoke someone”.

If someone brings a can of gasoline to an arsonist, should they also be charged with a crime?

What if it's really a buddy leaves a can of gas in your car, you return it to him, then he gives it to an arsonist? Because that's an much more accurate analogy.

It was not a murder scene at the time of delivery of the weapon. Only after the murder was committed did it become a murder scene. Kind of like the Superdome before and after 21-0.

That's how Saban operates but so many say he's the greatest, SMH. He will always throw anyone under a bus to elevate himself! especially a former player!!

lol…don’t let facts get in your way. Miles told Davis there’s one in the head, after Miller brought it to him. “There’s one in the head” had literally nothing to do with Miller. Logic is hard

Interesting how most of us staunchly defend gun rights until someone exercises them in a setting different than our personal comfortability level. The law doesn’t care if it was 2AM in a college town, that Miller was still a teenager, or that he seems to have poorly chosen his friends.
Alabama is permitless carry. Miller had every right to possess the weapon and transport it.
The law allows it to be loaded. “There’s one in the head” is irrelevant.
His friend sent him a text that prosecutors, Miller, and the sender all have interpreted to mean that his friend felt threatened and might need his gun to defend himself.
How the gun was in fact used after that point has no connection to Miller. Some other guy Miller doesn’t know ends up with the gun and a woman gets killed. Prosecutors couldn’t connect Miller to that so he was never charged.
Miller acted foolishly that night and I have no idea what his personal character is. But he didn’t break the law. Change gun rights in America if you don’t like it but prosecutors have to apply the law equally to all, not just to who some may think the law was intended to protect.
