You have your stance...I have mine.

I want to live in a society where grown adults can do whatever they like as long as it doesn't infringe on the safety or happiness of others. If you drive impaired (on anything, doesn't matter what) that should not be allowed (and isn't currently, yet we have thousands of alcohol driving deaths each year you dont' seem to mind). If you want to smoke a bowl in your own home after work who in the absolute frick should be able to tell you that you can't? Smoke meth, do blow, be gay, change your gender, own an AK, do whatever makes you happy in your house as long as it doesn't affect me any.
What your old arse doesn't seem to realize is that "no repercussions" isn't being advocated by ANYBODY. When the day comes that weed is legalized it will still have restrictions just like alcohol does. But someone should be able to smoke in their home if htey want just like they can drink a beer.

Yet we have 2 deaths caused by marijuana (until counter evidence is given).
Actually, I have more thoughts on gun control, but just listed 2.
&, to flip your argument, I'm surprised more people aren't for gun control.

All of the bad drivers around you everyday, and you don't know.

Meaning he wouldn't be high, to excessive speeding, causing this fatality.
BUT, since he WAS impaired, he should be in jail awaiting trial.

So everything should should be legalized?
That won't ever happen but I think just abotu everything should be. Weed, coke, shrooms, lsd for sure.
The only reason I wouldn't necessarily ever be for legalizing things like heroin and meth is because there generally isn't ANYTHING positive about them. Even with coke, it's quite easy to just socially do some while out without going crazy, and still being able to function and contribute to society and not be a burden. I don't know if it's possible to do heroin or crystal and do it in a way that wouldn't be harmful.

Yet when something causes the harm/death of others, we can't ignore that.
"If you drive impaired (on anything, doesn't matter what) that should not be allowed (and isn't currently, yet we have thousands of alcohol driving deaths each year you dont' seem to mind)."
Saying the same thing I was (driving while impaired).
Who said I minded alcohol deaths? If you recall my post, I said if you're stupid enough to drink & get behind the wheel, there's NO excusing it.

Smoke meth
Lost me at smoking meth. I'm sure most of us agree marijuana and meth are way too different things. Meth will affect your city/neighborhood in ways marijuana wont. That being said I dont believe any drugs should be legalized.
But only because I dont think we should be a society that's medicated. Already have so many issues. There will come a time when marijuana is legal and people will then push for the meths and cocaines of the world to be legal. It will come to a head and cause more problem than its worth.

Why not? I'm sure there's gonna be somebody debating you on allowing that.

J&M was founded in 1953 by George Johnston and Paul Malone. George Passed away in the 90s and J&M is now owned and operated by his sons. George Johnston and his wife Dorian had 3 children. Trey, Skip and Dixie.
Dixie was married to Payne Stewart agent Robert Fraley who also passed in the crash with Stewart. She remarried but has no kids. She also does no live in Auburn and has no active role in J&M.
Trey has 3 daughters, all of which are married and have children, but none of Trey’s grandchildren have started kindergarten yet.
Skip has 2 daughters and a son. None of Skip’s children are married.
Please tell me more about the family I worked for, for 15 years.

I’ll give you that, but this kid is not anywhere close to the branch of the Johnston family that owns J&M.

so you are telling me since 1953 there are only two grandchildren and "The oldest grandson between the 2 of them isn’t in kindergarten yet." ?
ETA and I have stated that this kid is not part of that family........but to tell me there are only two grandchildren, since 1953, is pure BS.
ETA to the ETA by doing the math......the two owners now are the grandchildren. Hell, my parents graduated from Auburn in '59 and they are great grandparents.

You’re obviously having reading comprehension problems.
The original owner of J&M, Big George Johnston had 6 grandchildren (5girls, 1 boy). The oldest grandchild of Big George is around 35 and the youngest is around 21. However, Big George isn’t alive anymore and therefore doesn’t own J&M.
The six grandchildren of Big George belong to Trey (3 girls) & Skip (2 girls, 1 boy), the current owners of J&M. Trey has several grandchildren, all of which are under the age of 5.
It’s clear you have no idea what you’re talking about.
