Utah St ranked #70. World beaters!!
Seems with all the 5* RBs on your team, one would be leading the conference.

Kenny had a damn fine day catching passes, if he can produce on the ground to match then no doubt he'll be high on this list in short order.
Kenny will be fine on the ground. Dan Lanning took away the inside running game. So we ran outside the tackles (a lot of those touches were jet sweeps just like a handoff). Lanning never adjusted so neither did we.

It also doesn't help his case that Kenny is a SR with no history of being a featured back to lean on and give the benefit of the doubt
That is an ironic statement from a WDE whose fanbase uses the depth excuse every offseason when Bo vs Herschel argument #2,374 popped up in the summer.
Zeus and Cook were both drafted 2022.
DeAndre Swift (who Kenny draws most comparisons to because of his ability to catch out of the backfield and dead-leg move) was drafted 2020.
Despite being behind NFLers, Kenny had 729 total yards in 2021, & 580 total yards in the covid year.

UF might have something in true freshman Trevor Etienne. Yes brother of Travis Etienne.
5 carries 64 yards 12.8 YPC.

Montrell Johnson and Trevor Etienne looked really good for Fla.

The ever watchful eyes of the ranking committee will certainly be monitoring the Gators this weekend

UGA's RB corps looked very good, but UGA didn't run nearly as much as normal (especially considering they had a big lead which normally leads to lots of runs. And a higher number of their runs were jet sweeps to WR.
Here are their RB run numbers:
Milton - 8 carries for 50 yards (6.3), 1 TD
McIntosh - 5 carries for 18 yards (3.6), 1 TD
Edwards - 4 carries for 24 yards (6.0)
Robinson - 2 carries for 13 yards (6.5)
But all in all... just 19 RB carries which is VERY low.
But the exchange... was passes to RB's
McIntosh - 9 catches for 117 yards.
Edwards - 2 catches for 34 yards
Milton - 1 catch for 18 yards
Clark - 1 catch for 4 yards.
Many of these were passes to the flat or shovel passes that would be no different from a run play... just a different way of getting the ball out. UGA's offense will be much different this year than people are used to seeing from UGA. And part of that is RB's getting swing passes to get the ball to the edge.

They are different from run plays. Otherwise they'd count as rushes and not passes.
Shovel, swing, and screen passes have completely different set ups and blocking schemes than toss running plays. Doesn't matter if starts behind the LOS, a pass isn't the same as a run no matter how much you UGA fans can't accept that

They are, but your post indicates you are judging running backs as players, catching passes is a huge part of that in modern football.

The committee will take your considerations into concern for next week's vote, but rushing stats will always be weighted more than receiving stats. How much more weighted may be up for debate, and any changes agreed upon by a majority vote of the committee members will be reflected in the algorithm.
That will be all on this matter for now. Good day, sir

Tank Bigsby would not start at Ole Miss.

If Tank Bigsby were at Ole Miss, y'all wouldn't have Evans bc y'all wouldn't have needed to hit the portal
Same if AU hadn't stolen Jarquez Hunter from y'all

Judkins, the true freshman, is better than Hunter. His numbers were pretty good Saturday too.

Everyone writing Auburn off this season is wrong.
Good offensive line and easily the best back in the conference historically has teams going 8-4/9-3 or better. If You can run the ball well in this conference then you can win the majority of games.

You don't throw the ball to your backs and let them run with it? Old school offense.

If you think so.
The only difference between a toss sweep and a long shovel pass is if the ball goes forward or backward from the QB's hands to the RB's hands.
On most of the swing passes, if the RB had been a yard further back, they'd count statistically as runs rather than passes.
It's the same reason why a pass that goes backwards is a live ball while a pass that goes forwards is a dead ball if dropped. With swing passes, you want it to go forward a little so if it's dropped it's incomplete... but to argue it's significantly different than if the pass was equal from the QB rather than slightly in front of him is kind of dumb.
