Why on earth would we be embarrassed by this?
Your coaches are trying to stop something in the rulebook because they cannot stop it on the field and they're doing so under the guise of player safety. It's a crock of shite and an embarrassment to the sport.

Yea, agreed, but he is trying to sway their mind one way, and we know what way that is.
Except for the fact that his most recent comments on this were about Alabama speeding up

Except this rule isnt going to change anything.
But keep on bitching about it. It is awesome.
I also LOVE the paranoia that Saban is driving this.

You can repeat it as many times as you like, it doesnt change the facts or the amount of paranoia being spewed here today.

This also just further points out that Nick Saban is a hypocrite, and when he didn't get his way via media outlet, he decided he might need to change the offensive philosophy of his team's offense for their own benefit.

How is recognizing the current trend in college football make him a hypocrite. He sees the advantage it provides and realized maybe they should start taking advantage of it.

Plus as an LSU fan why do we care
We can actually beat teams that run that offense
Makes no difference

quote:It isnt paranoia. What is happening is coaches who do not use the hunh are trying to get it outlawed because of the fact that it does not help them win games. FACT. I dont blame them, they are trying to give themselves every advantage possible. I would probably do the same if i saw the opportunity. I can admit that.

Ask the people who are changing it.
As I have said numerous times, I am completely indifferent to this.

You're right it started in November 2010, after the first debacle.

Funny how no one had a problem when the coaches all lobbied the NCAA to change recruiting rules to slow down Saban.
lolol, I guess when you're backed into an inescapable corner just start making stuff?

They are doing a really shitty job then. This rule change doesnt impede the HUNH.
