Neither voted. RT @slmandel: Bielema a non-voting member of the rules committee. Saban attended 90-minute "discussion" portion of the meeting.

I'm really not sure how Alabama and Arkansas fans aren't embarrassed about this.

so they just lobbied for it...we knew this and shouldn't be surprised. It's to their advantage, why wouldn't they be for it?

Are you suggesting Saban's influence on this is limited to whether he's actually the one voting or not?
Are you that naive?

Nick Saban: The Most Powerful Man In The World

YES. LET IT FLOW THROUGH YOU.
clearly he was there greasing palms and threatening people to vote the way he told them to or else.
he definitely wasn't an advisory coach there to give his opinion with no voting power whatsoever

it's pretty pathetic, to be honest... Beilema I can understand b/c he's another losing season away from exile, but Saban?

CBB is a member of the rules committee.
Just admit you are jealous of Arkansas being in charge of CFB with CBB and Jeff Long's positions so we call move on.

So powerful he can't even vote.
I enjoy how scared both coaches are though.

yes we are so naive to think that a football coach doesn't have the power to force the entire NCAA to bend to his will

Nice to have a coach that is so innovative in his offenses that there are rules being lobbied to stop him since it cannot be done on the field.
