Incompletions stop the clock. This means more plays will be run. Should we outlaw incompletions?

Again, conjecture
And are you really arguing that more plays = less injuries?
What you call conjecture everyone else calls logic.
Nope. But saying its the HUNH's fault when the numbers say otherwise is stupid. No matter who is claiming. Saban and BB's offense average more plays per game than a lot of HUNH teams, do we need a rule that you can only have so many plays a game and of you get to that point you can't run anymore?

everyone calls trying to guess why someone said something conjecture
Sure, run it up the flagpole

No. Incorrect statement. The top 20 fastest teams had less injuries that the top 20 slowest teams last year.
More plays = more potential injuries.
ETA: I'm trying to find the link for that. it was posted in one of the other threads.

Are we still talking about this? The rule is a non-factor. The play clock starts as soon as the play ends. Do you really think 10 seconds from the time the clock is started to the time the ball is snapped is enough time for a defense to substitute, re-strategize and reset?

Ok, I agree with that.

It is the same theory as more risk=more reward. No not true.
This rule (if we are going to believe the bs about injuries), is not to lessen the number of injuries. It is to lessen the number of potential injuries.
Which, is also, all a bunch of bs.

The time won't affect Auburn's game speed but its about the fact that whiny coaches shouldn't get rules changed because they can't beat someone or teach their players to handle another team's strategy. No rule should be changed for those reasons. Saban shouldn't have any more say in rules than any other D1 coach.

It doesn't make players safer, it doesn't make the game better for fans, more exciting for the players playing, or anything else better. The only ones this serves to benefit are the few coaches that can't teach and train their players to defend it.

Saban and Bert are both vaginas. God they should be embarrassed. Can't stop it so we will get the rules changed.

I'm sure all these folks calling out Saban now were saying how unfair it was to create the 'bump' (otherwise know as Saban) recruiting rule simply because it was perceived by many to give Alabama an unfair advantage.
No way they would be hypocritical and support adding rules that appear to hurt Alabama while opposing rules that would tend to help them.....

Don't give a frick. Defenses should be allowed to sub in and out. I like the proposed rule change. Winning a game, not due to talent but due to the fact that you can simply snap the ball faster is BS.
The game is not just about talent. Coaching is more important. HUNH detracts from the defensive staff and players' ability to assess the situation and get ready for the next play.
