No idea if thats correct but that seems like the most logical pitch and what happened.
Despite what y'all Aggies think about Arch he willA) draw eyeballs to his #1 WR which helps for any draft stock B) signifcantly improved his throwing accuracy as the year went on and C) has a good deep ball.
Other than $ Texas offers that where as Tech has a new QB, Bama may also with Ty leaving, and Aggies Reed is not known for the deep ball accuracy.

Really? Only money.
If you want to get drafted high who do you want throwing you the ball? Manning who will have all eyes on him again and will be in the Heisman talk (regardless if he deserves it or not) or Reed who is not know for deep balls and will not have as much media attention?

I pointed that fellow old schooler and was laughed at. It's a valid point. This appears very similar to a year when Herman loaded up on skill players and neglected the line on both sides. That didn't work out well, but, you did have a coach that snorted coke off a stripper's arse...with his wife. You'll always have that.

I am seeing now that we have some OL guys returning, but our sunshine pumpers keep saying our awesome portal OL additions will be here … next… yeah Arch is fast when in the open, but I don’t want him running sideways for his life from defenders all next season… so I’m still waiting on the Big Portal OL Reveal…
