Actually, we don't claim any bogus national titles. We don't like bogus national titles.

We claim 15 national titles, though.

Just wanna reiterate, after this season, Bama will own nearly 1/4 of all legit National Titles in college football.

So, what your saying is, no matter how you try to pick, choose, or slice it, Bama has far more NC's than everyone else.

Exactly 1/4 of the BCSNC's, in fact.

No way around it - 1941 is ridiculous.
Make it 14.

Let's hear the Alabama douches respond to this thread like they do others

Well Chicken's method for awarding championships is irrelevant and isn't the way national titles have ever been awarded. So, this thread is a huge waste of time unless Chicken is starting his own poll to award championships.

I agree with you about the logic. I was merely trying to explain his reasoning. Not defend it.

Florida State's 1993 title is illegitimate under the criteria.

Notre Dame was #2
Nebraska was #3
Texas A&M was #4
Auburn was #5

Florida State beat Nebraska
Notre Dame beat Texas A&M

Auburn was the only unbeaten team left.

Auburn was also ineligible for postseason play, including the SEC title game.

I would like to thank Chicken for awarding Alabama 5 National Championships.

Alabama has over twice as many national championships than any other school.

One question, does Alabama do away with all their SEC championships before 1992, since there wasn't a playoff before then?

No. 1 Florida State def. No. 2 Nebraska 18-16 in the Orange Bowl. Notre Dame didn't climb to No. 2 until after the bowl games...
