Arky was the 1977 champion?

Arkansas, Notre Dame, and Texas were co-champions

Notre Dame lost to a 3-4 SEC team. People rag on Bama’s titles, but Notre Dame was gifted a few by pollsters who slobbed their knob.

I almost forget 2011 is like the greatest Arky has ever been.
2010 team would beat the shite out of the 2011 team, IMO.

If Knile Davis wasn't hurt against Bama and if Nick Fairley didn't have that dirty hit against Mallett.

The defense was also better in 2010 iirc. The 2011 team needed a miracle not to get beat by Vandy.

Plus Mallett was simply a much more capable QB than Wilson. Not that Wilson was bad for a college QB at all, but Mallett had the authority to make checks at the line and Wilson was relegated to looking to the sidelines after the huddle broke. That speaks volumes.

You were playing UAPB tonight. You might as well been playing Colorado School of Mines or Wisconsin-Whitewater out there.

Going by stats the 2011 defense was better. What killed Arkansas chances of winning the SEC that year was Knile Davis went down in August to a season ending injury and Greg Childs never fully recovered from his ACL injury the year before in the Vandy game.

What happened tonight is that no matter who was in there, we kept the foot on the gas and never let up.

Pittman's problem has always been letting up when there was a sizable lead, no matter who it was. That cost him at times against good teams.

So refreshing to see that even with the 3rd QB in, we were still actually trying to score. BP has definitely changed the mindset.

False! You’ve won it three times unless you’re maybe using an Ole Miss grading system. Also, 2/3 times you won the SECW were seasons in which you actually lost to LSU, so it is not a great bragging point anyway!

Can we be a little bit excited about our team? Or are you just going to be a count as usual?

Celebrate, Arkansas has earned it. In Petrino's first season back at Arkansas, this time as OC, his team currently leads the SEC in every offensive stat category that exists.

That is not bad.

Exactly!! Every SEC team deserves to have the ups that go with the downs!

I told all of you how badly it set your program back by firing him. You wasted an entire decade and a half almost because of a personal affair of his lmfao.

My man, we averaged 2.9 yards per rush last year in game 1 against Western Carolina. You could see all game long in that one we were going to be bad. Take your jealousy elsewhere.
