I think Petrino is a good offensive coach. The issue is that Jimbo won't like the fact that Petrino is the alpha in the room.
Saban can get away with hiring someone like this and maintain his process, keeping full control. Petrino will drag his nuts across Jimbo's nose, and there's nothing Jimbo can do about it.
