If we go this route, I'll just have to hope getting tossed off the back of a bike, a failed stint back at UL, and getting busted out of FBS has humbled him a bit.
Not exactly sure why he gives up a HC gig for an OC job even if it is in a lower division, but maybe he sees it as the path back.

Pay raise, more exposure, and more opportunities for higher tier coaching gigs in a few years if he is successful. That seems pretty clear why Petrino would entertain it.
