Now if they could start working on the catching ...

Combined:
38/77 49.4%
6.7 yds/attempt
4 TD & 3 INT

In a controlled setting w/ no touches on the QB...

Gotta make you smile.

The same smile as watching a “generational QB recruit” go 5/13 for 30 yards in a “controlled setting with no touches on the qb”?

Y’all put way too much stock into spring games, it’s funny. But I guess you gotta find something to talk about since basketball is over and baseball is boring.

I mean if I'm being honest I'm still not sold on the Petrino hire but I'm trying to be optimistic

Even though our QB play wasn't that good, we put up points and that's all that matters tbh. Offense wasn't great, playcalling wasn't that bad if I'm being honest, execution was pretty bad though. Petrino knew what he was working with but pieces didn't fit well enough. Kinda believe that if Weigman/Johnson played at least a B+ game the score would have been 49-35 or something like that

Either way, it's a Spring Game, and people are going full doomer already . I'm going to wait until Fall Camp before I make up my mind

This is great. The teams at A&M actually beat last year are the ones talking the most trash. It all makes sense

Just wait until they get the internet in Boone, NC.

Hind sight and all that, but if A&M had just said frick it we are going two TE's and running Achane 30 times a game, they likely would've been a boring but stout 8-9 win team. This is the only thing that makes me nervous about Petrino being there. He is smart enough to make an offense work with what he has, and doesn't give a shite what it looks like. IF he is left alone.

Petrino cam put up some ridiculous numbers... assuming he has a QB. Fortunately for the SEC, that day isn't here.

A scrimmage with combined #s under 50% completion may send him to an early grave.

This is the old and washed up Bobby that has so much baggage that he hires someone to carry it for him.

Not the 2011 before falling off bike Petrino.

Yeah, we all agree. A&Mbcouldbuave and should have won more games last year. But Jimbo was stubborn and underachieved. So the Petrino hire is supposed to correct that.

That's a big if. I just hope he calls plays from the sideline so we can all watch when he and Jimbo finally come to blows.

What's the word on how the spring went for you guys? Had their been any major offensive changes as of yet with Petrino?

Its been weird in BR. First spring in ages that their wasn't an overabundance of coverage, hype. Regardless of results, Kelly has really throttled down the rumor mill.
