Hoover beat Central last year. Central would probably be 4th in the Birmingham region. Remember this iron head Hoover beat Thompson this year. Central has 1 title in the past 25 years. Same time period Hoover has 11.

What don't you understand about today ? Nobody gives a shite about what Hoover has done in the past or even just last year. This year they were past by both programs and Thompson is making a habit of it.

FWIW, 1st game Thompson starting QB got hurt. Still Hoover had to score with 17 seconds remaining to win. Rematch in playoffs, Thompson beat them bad.
I think Thompson has beaten Hoover like 6 out of the last 8 times they’ve played.

Daddy Nix and his team showed their sportsmanship tonight.
Have you ever seen a team kickoff after a score from the receiving team’s 15 yard line? Happened tonight bc of personal fouls and unsportsmanlike penalty on Daddy.

Did anybody see the crazy kickoff in this game? Thompson kicked off from the Central 15 yard line at one point.

Was there. Central and Daddy Nix evidently didn’t have much class to lose. One of their players got disqualified for two ridiculous late hits after Thompson TDs.

On the high school scoreboard radio show in Louisiana they described one earlier this year where the kicking team ended up inside the opponents 10 so they couldn’t even do that. I have no clue how the receiving team lined up because if the ball or player goes into the end zone with the ball it’s an immediate touchback. Is Bo’s little brother playing in college?

Some folks on here a few weeks ago were positively giddy when Hoover beat Thompson in the regular season when Thompson’s QB got hurt.
None of them manned up when, with their QB, Thompson wrecked Hoover in the playoffs.

Same thing Hoover's qb got hurt in the playoff game no excuses from Hoover fans only Thompson fans.
