He's already better than Mac Jones as a freshman. Will probably beat bama at least 1 more time during his tenure.

ROTFLMMFAO!
I don't know, but it damn sure wouldn't be Mr. 50% completion boy!
I'd robably choose John Ryes Plumlee of Ole Miss.

That's because you're stupid.

Not a horrible pick. QBs do more for the team then CBs do. Stingley is a better player for his position. Should really do Offense FOTY and Defense FOTY.
Don't get me wrong, I bleed purple and gold and I think Stingley is better than half the CBs in the NFL right now but I see the angle.

Agree with all this. Stingley is at worst a top 3 corner in the SEC imo. But when factoring in degree of difficulty I think Nix gets the nod.

I agree that he probably wasn’t the best option, but who really gives a shite? They are freshman and have plenty of football left. It’s a meaningless recognition that impacts nothing.
Go win it all LSU and quit getting triggered over something so meaningless.
Now if Joe doesn’t win the heisman, by all means, get triggered,

I honestly agree it is silly. I'd even say Nix wasn't the best freshman on the team with how Pappoe played but Nix is not bad. I would've chosen Stingly

CB is the hardest position to play in football (athletic-wise.)
Followed by QB.

This should say everything you need to know about why this is a trash pick for the award.
While I don't agree with the selection of Nix as FOY (and don't see how anyone could) Congrats to him. Auburn played probably the most difficult schedule in the country.

Same thing. It's freshman POY. semantics.
