Everyvody's so mad....I don't really expect us to go many places with sims but we do have a great chance to win every game with him. Better hope you beat Alabama, LSU

Blah, blah, blah. Spin, spin, backpeddle, backpeddle.
I used scoring because it is what matters and it is what ESPN posts on the home page for each team. You want to look up scoring, do it. Bama's opponents are probably even worse in total defense overall.

Y'all played Michigan State, the 6th-ranked defense? Astounding how little press that one got.
LSU is #6.

You don't know what "backpeddle" (backpedal, actually) means, do you? I reiterated exactly what I said in my original post. That's not "backpeddling" under any rational definition of the word.
I pointed out the problem with using scoring defense as the primary metric of a team's defensive capabilities. It's hardly my problem you're not capable of following what was incredibly easy logic.

Good lord, you really aren't an actual fan of football, are you? You sound like someone who needs the sport explained to them as the game goes on.
Incidentally, I'm a Vandy fan. I just think idiots like you need some things explained to them slowly, in very basic terms. Not that it always helps, but there's only so much I can do to make things sufficiently simplistic.

Dude... he's doing great for us, really, and way beyond expectations.
But Dak and Mariotta are the two best in the country.

Love Sims, and he is performing way better than people expected. His numbers are really good.
But he still throws more inaccurate balls than McCarron or GMAC. Not to say he isn't performing better overall when you throw in his rushing numbers and the fact that his passing YPG is higher than both of theirs, but he has more throws that leave you pissed until he comes back on the next play, dodges two sacks, and fires one to Coop for a 30 yard completion.

We haven't called more than 2 or 3 bubble screens in any game since like the fau game, cock.

He's definitely best when he creates a play. Keep him in the pocket and I'd go as far as saying he's below average. It's not always possible to take away the legs though.

About like I did in 2010. We are one of the best in the SEC stopping the run and bad against the pass, sorta like in 2010 though not quite as bad.
Our secondary is not bad, we just don't have a pass rush. If Lawson had not gotten hurt, we would be a pretty scary team overall. His loss really has been that impactful.

Your eloquence astounds me. I'm not sure whether it would be a greater insult to assume that you didn't graduate from Auburn...or that you did.
Ah, hell. I'll go with the "didn't" because the other Auburn fans haven't earned that sort of disapprobation in this thread so far.
