I like him most of the time. I hate that one pass a game that is directly to a defender. Thank goodness they can't catch!

He's like the opposite of Jeff Driskel in that regard.

Fingers crossed that trend continues next weekend.

How in the world do we have any control over that?

Exactly correct. We couldn't have imagined how piss poor Florida was going to be when we scheduled them. We played a solid WVU team... our normal SEC west teams (which is half of Auburn's same schedule)... We also can't help how bad Tennessee has performed and can't get out of playing them because it's a permanent cross division rival.

So really, TnM is just blowing his normal high and mighty smoke. We really ought to just compare the OOC games we have because that's the only legit way to compare SoS with the boogs'. (in reference to SoS WHEN we scheduled the teams we played)

*edit*

Homie is just jealous of our dynasty and dominance!

Not to mention Tennessee's defense is not bad. They aren't great, but they are not bad.

McElroy and McCarron were really accurate, and their completion percentages were great, but I'm sure that Blake's isn't that much worse than their's. He makes more risky throws too, which isn't necessarily a good thing, but when it pays off, it's a great thing.

His completion percentage matches up, but at the same time I never watched those two play and saw more than 1-3 inaccurate balls a game. When McCarron was here a lot of his incompletions were drops and throwaways. Sims has missed some guys, but it hasn't mattered. It averages out.

You must have missed the middle of the 2009 season then. McElroy was Marc Gullion awful.

Dak...? Really? At this rate he may not even finish the season... takes a bunch of sacks throws more ints.. if we needed Blake to run it 15 times a game he'd have far more yards...

There are a few good QB's in the SEC. An indisputable fact is that some look better than others simply because of the all around roster talent.

Sims is good, but your thread statement is off base IMO.

Now it's not the QB, it's everybody else lol... great QBs are only great if they put up good numbers with players that suck? If he puts up great numbers do the players around him still suck? I'm really confused.

I have no idea, but I would guess bama's schedule so far has the lowest average defensive rankings for opponents of any team in the entire league.

Sadly, when we play Auburn, it will only drop further.

So, in your head, #40 is outside the top 40? I'm starting to feel bad for insulting you because you are clearly legit retarded.

Ya'll are right... take all Blake's stats off the books... they clearly don't count. With LSU, MSU, and aubie coming up.. Blake will not have had to play one good defense all year.

He lost to Ole Miss, even our derp of a QB managed to handle that.

Alabama's offense scored 10 points, which wasn't enough for the win, so your implication is invalid.

I think he is a fine QB, but Dak is the best QB in the nation.

We will have a tough time stopping Cooper if Sims is on
